Activ8 Performance Training is committed to delivering safe, high quality sport specific Strength & Conditioning training for the community of Peterborough.
Our goal is to provide athletes of all ages with the knowledge, motivation, confidence, and training necessary to be able to peak for their competitions while maintaining a strong, healthy body and mindset!
Youth sports camp
Acitv8 Sports Camp is designed to make your child a Faster, Sharper, Stronger & More Confident Athlete!
We offer 6 Weeks of Sports Specific Skill & Fitness Training to help your child unlock their true athletic potential while educating them on the Proper Body Mechanics, Risk Prevention, Safety Precautions, Safe Exercise Habits, Healthy Lifestyles, Performance Nutrition, Developing An Elite Mindset and More!
OPTION A) 5 Day/Week Camp runs Monday - Friday (except Week 5 Tues - Fri), from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm daily.
OPTION B) 3 Day/Week Camp runs Monday, Weds Friday (except Week 5 Tues, Wed, Fri), from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm daily.
Ages 6 - 13
Age Group Specific Training following LTAD training principles.
Experienced & Professional Coaches
Your child will receive expert coaching and sport specific skills training from Camp Director, Kevin Henry, plus Guest Coaches; Nic Koo (Provincial Weightlifting Team Member), Alexandria Hayes (Ontario Muay Thai Athlete) & World Champion Kickboxer Anna Graham.
TWO OPTIONS: 5 DAY Camps run Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm | 3 DAY Camps run Mon, Weds, Fri 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Please send your child with lots of healthy food and a lunch to keep them fueled and hydrated to perform daily workouts
A Reusable Water Bottle ( We will have a water Cooler for campers only to use )

The best place I have ever trained. Kevin is very understanding of limitations and only asks that you try.
Very welcoming group people that make even newbies feel comfortable. Kevin can push you hard which is perfect motivation to dig deep.
I've tried I think every type of class they offer (that's not advanced or for children) and have loved every one of them.

There are five people in our family ranging from 15 to 40 years of age. We train together 4 to 5 days a week....we call it 'Family Therapy' lol!!! It has been a truly wonderful experience to watch our family become more conscious about our health and wellness and to witness our boys working hard towards their dreams of becoming professional fighters. We feel we have extended our family with the beautiful people we have met here. Kevin Henry has taken our family under his wing and has not only taught us how to fight, defend ourselves and encourage us to eat properly but how to learn from failures, breathe deep and stay focused. Training here has been a life changing experience for our family ☺
